This little tutorial assumes an established understanding of the normal Algebraic (Russian, Brazilian, Chess etc.) Notation:c7-d8 g5-h4. In order to save time and space this can be shortened to cd8-gh4.

The cd8 vs c7-d8 saves time and space. Now what the reader has to figure out here is that there is a piece on "C" that is able to move to d8. The only piece that could move from "C" to d8 would be "C7".

bc7= b6-c7
hg1= h2-g1
cd8= c7-d8
gh4= g5-h4
