That was really a funny scene. Maybe Daskov just like the kid and gave him a break. BTW "The Kid" N. Struchkov defended very well against this end game. Who is N. Struchkov. He looks very young. "Maybe 22 at the most". But he's playing against the likes of Daskov indicates he's no ham.

Mr. Struchkov is the biggest surprise in the last 10 years - a student coming out of the coldest place on earth, becomes a world champion on the first try, then dissappears to pursue his college education, then re-appears to win Russian championship...
