It would be good if you used numbered boards

Thanks for letting us know. Neither TDam nor Aurora produces the numbered boards, but you will now find a Board Numbers page on the menu showing both the Pool and Russian styles.

Actually Aurora produces numbered boards: Options/interface/show board coordinates. You would have to do this step only once and all boards are produced numbered. By the way 2 StratgisT, Do you use any type of checkers program. A checkers playing program would be more efficient as one can also create, save, share, print and do a lot of things with the created pdn files.

Aurora produces numbers on screen but the HTML board does not have numbers.

True... But Aurora can save any board position (with numbers) as .GIF... "Coach/Export Diagram/GIF".

But by the time you get the numbered diagram down to a good size for publishing the numbers are so small that you can barley see the numbers (with glasses).

But I found a very simple solution with the Board Numbers page.

Hi Jake, how can I insert an image into a message. I looks as if the image needs an url location. I was trying to paste a numbered Aurora board into the message.

It seems you can insert an image address via the [img] tag and it will show as a diagram when posted. I do not see how to upload an image directly into the reply, maybe upload it into the Photo Album and then insert its address?

Youngblood - three mistakes:
1. When you upload a picture do not automatically click all the buttons - one of them says image is not available for viewing - that is your No Access reason;
2. Do not click the page address - click the image first, property and then the address in there, then you will see a proper jpg / png extension;
3. Do not put space between the [/ and img] - just use provided tags.
Remember - this trick with Photo Album is needed only in replies - the initial entries all have picture upload capabilities.
