I played this position many times, but can't claim to know how to win - any suggestions?

Here is an interesting position, right from the game, one side is trying to steal the too advanced checker, the other side, while defending it, is mounting an attack on the left side. Normally in such positions black move 1.10-14 forcing the 2...25-22 to get a draw.
But here we also have a hidden gem move 1.12-16! What is really interesting is that my Aurora program repeatedly answers 24-20, can someone show why 24-20 is bad?

Kennedy Phiri the winner of 2010 (Zambia )Provincial tournament held at Olympic Youth Development Center faced one of the old timers Mr.Tenthani Mwanzah in a marathon match which ended 8 - 7 in favour of Mr.T. Mwanzah.
Kennedy Phiri also had to hit back after this defeat in another marathon which gave Mr,Mwanzah a defeat of 10-3 and the other results follow as systematically arranged:

Zambia has got quite a good number of strong players which are capable of competing at international level and bw able to win Pool Checkers Championship. Zambia has got 9 provicences with its capital city being Lusaka which has got about 10 masters.
